Ms. Cassandra LaChey Harris, 26, passed away Monday May 8, 2023, at Wilson Medical Center.
The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC. Pastor Justin Barnes will deliver the words of comfort. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Wilson, NC.
Preceding her in death was her father, Michael Evans; grandfather, Alton Willoughby, long-time boyfriend, Quantaveus Fleming, and great-aunt, Patti J. Gear.
Cassandra is survived by her mother, Alexandra Denise Gear; stepdaughter, JaZ'iya" Puddin Cup" Lucas; sisters, Jameiya Gear, Alexus Dailey, Rickeia Fleming and Penny Evans; two brothers, Garry Harris, and Craig Barnes; grandmothers, Deborah Hinnant and Vera Berry; aunts, Stacey Kent, Krystal Carter and Artina Artis; two uncles, Johnathan Gear and Benjamin Evans; two nieces, Skylar J. Dailey and Samora P. Dailey, two great-aunts Lena Doris Artis and Rachel Barnes (Ronald); and six great-uncles, Isaac Gear, Johnny Gear, James Gear(Kim), Roland Gear, Fred Willoughby (Ella), and Amos Willoughby (Ramona); two special friends, Jaxxon Sanders and MaKenzie Ruffin; a host of other friends and family
