Carolyn Everette Speight

Mrs. Carolyn Everette Speight, 71, of 5171 Artis Road, Lucama, NC, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, North Carolina.

The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Association, 3033 Bynum Farm Road, Pinetops, NC. Elder Corey Everette will deliver the word of comfort. The burial will follow in Carver Park Cemetery, Pinetops, NC.

A public walk through is scheduled for Monday, September 28, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Edna L. Everette Turner, Mary Everette Waller and Emily Staton.

Surviving to cherish her life and memories are her devoted husband of 47 years, Marvin Lee Speight Sr., of the home; three sons, Marvin Lee Speight Jr. (Thennie) of Waxhaw, NC, Aundra Earl Speight (Amel) of Charlotte, NC, and Everette Tyron Speight of Wilson, NC; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth McNeil (Roscoe) of Rocky Mount, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends including two special cousin sisters Brenda Johnson and Lossie Everette.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
