Ms. Carolyn Baines Barnes, 75, of 5343 St. Rose Church Road, Sims, NC passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at UNC Nash Hospital, Rocky Mount, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Restoration Purpose Church, 5200 US 264, Bailey, NC.  Overseer, Pastor John L. Hart will officiate and Elder Mable Spells will preside.  Burial will follow in Sane Williams Cemetery, Sims, NC.

The public viewing will be Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  At other times, the family will meet at the residence where they will also gather on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
