CMSgt Robert Earl Murrill Obituary

Chief Master Sergeant Robert Earl Murrill, 73, of 4108 Raven Ridge Drive NW, Wilson, NC, passed away on May 4, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries, located at 1006 Academy Street SE, Wilson, NC. Due to the requirements of the Governor's Executive Order regarding the number of people in a funeral service, the funeral service will be private.

The burial will take place at a later date at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.

A public walk-through has been scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.

Preceding him in death were: his parents, Hezekiah and Minnie Ruth Murrill; his in-laws, Marie C. Lucas and John E. Lucas and best friend, William “Buck” Jenkins.

 Left to cherish precious memories are:  his devoted wife, Brenda Murrill of Wilson, NC; three sons, Cedric (Isabell) of Belguim, Jonathan and Jaden, both of Wilson, NC; three daughters, Tami of Detroit, MI,   Felicia of San Antonio, TX and Nicole of Newark, NJ; five grandchildren, Twanna of Detroit, MI, Marshea of Newark, NJ, Phillip of Atlanta, GA, Maya of Belgium and Sarina of Detroit, MI; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Geraldine Murrill, Judy Murrill and Shirley Callaham (friend-Shorty) , all of Wilson, NC and Brenda Murrill of Cary, NC; two brothers, Richard Murrill and Larry Murrill , both of Wilson, NC; two sisters-in-law, Janice (Fred) and Anne; two brothers-in-law, Dwight and John (Sandra) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving     relatives and friends.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, located at 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC.
