Bruce Edwards

Mr. Bruce Edwards, 70 of 2202 Fieldcrest Rd.,  passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018,  at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 1:00 pm, Wilson Chapel FWB Church, 513 E. Barnes St, Wilson, NC.  Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext.  A public visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 25,  2018, 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home.  

Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by: his parents, Jesse Roy Edwards and Susie Gray Edwards; one brother, Jesse Roy Edwards, Jr.; one sister, Ernestine Edwards McAllister.

He leaves many loving and cherished memories to: his devoted wife, Gloria J. Edwards of the home; two sons, Bruce Wayne Edwards, Jr. and Michael Christopher Edwards both of Wilson, NC; three step-children, Shirley A. Campbell, Michael J. Campbell (Sharon) and Thaddeus Tucker (Tara) all of Wilson, NC; five grandchildren, Cierra Nicole Edwards of Greenville, NC, Dana Chrisitna Edwards, Natasha Edwards, Brittany Bynum and Andre Hinnant all of Wilson, NC; three grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; twenty one step-great grandchildren; one sister, Mary E. Handy of Wilson, NC; two brothers in law, Eddie Campbell and Roy Campbell both of Washington, DC; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
