Mrs. Brenda Faye Shackleford Roundtree Bunch, 71, of 5420 1st Road in Wilson, NC passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at her home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, November 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC. Pastor Darrick Barnes will deliver the word of comfort. The committal services will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2704 Nash Street NW, Wilson, NC.

In order to provide protection for our community, the number of attendees is limited to 200. In addition, masks will be required and temperature checks will be done at the door. The entry located on Carroll Street will be the only entry that will be used for funeral attendees.

A public walk-through is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding Brenda in death were: her parents, Greene Thomas Shackleford and Margaret Madell Shackleford; one brother, Curtis  Bernard Shackleford.

Cherished memories are left to: her husband, Keswick Bunch of the home; two sons, Kevin Perez Roundtree (Sharon) of Goldsboro, NC and Antonio “T.O” Roundtree (fiancé’ Shawn) of Knightdale, NC; one daughter, Shanita Wilson (Brian) of Clayton, NC; five brothers, Royce Jackie Shackleford (Bertie) of Suitland, MD, Robert Shackleford (Donna), Joseph Shackleford, Thomas Shackleford and Rommie Pettaway (Christy), all of Wilson, NC; one sister, Sharon Norris (Tyrone) of Philadelphia, PA; fourteen grandchildren, Antwain Jermaine Harris, Lamar Danzy, Brittany Alston, Cortnee Gibbs, Quanisha Hinton, Shaquis Roundtree, William “BeBe” Mays, Nya Roundtree, Keona Kirk, Antonio Roundtree, Jr., Kevin Roundtree, Jr., Christian Crudup, Zyavion Roundtree and Raine Carmon; six great grandchildren; five special nieces, Katina Shackleford Wright (Towan) of Wilson, NC, Tina Black (Andria) of Knightdale, NC, Tiara Shackleford Hedgepeth (Eddie) of Richland, NC, Nikita Isler of Snow Hill, NC and Jacqueline Shackleford of Clinton, MD; four special nephews, Robert “Boo” Shackleford, Jr. of Wilson, NC, Brandon Jackson (fiancé’ Cherisse) of Sterling, VA, Royce Parker of Georgia and Tyrone Norris, Jr. of Phiadelphia, PA; four aunts, Mother Carrie Shackleford and Viola Forbes, both of Snow Hill, NC, Thelma Solomon of Washington, DC and Mary Shackleford of Alephia, MD; eight special cousins, Lisa Shackleford and Velma Ingram, both of Snow Hill, NC, Linda Barfield of Farmville, NC, Ruth Bowen of Kinston, NC, Rubetta Shackleford of Wilson, NC and Tyrone Shackleford (Jeanie) of Durham, NC; eight sisters-in-law including a special sister-in-law, Rosa Bunch of Wendell, NC; four brothers-in-law; four special brothers, Sylvester Lane, Jr., James Ray Chatman and Louis Lane, all of Snow Hill and Leslie Hinnant of Wilson, NC; four special sisters, Linda Kelly of Upper Marlboro, MD, Diana Weaver of Macon, GA, Charlotte Sally Taylor of Texas and Little Ann Terry of Snow Hill, NC; seven special friends, Lavern Albritton, Gracie Ann Hardy and Fannie Smith, all of Snow Hill, NC, Nettie Florence of Roselle, NJ, Janice Wade of Wilson, NC, Thelma Artis of Newark, NJ and Mary Hedgepeth (Eddie) of Hollister, NC and a very special and dedicated caretaker, Crystal Mills of Wilson, NC.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
