Brenda Canady-Cherebin

Ms. Brenda Canady-Cherebin, 70, of 4440 Highway 64, US 264 Alternate, Bailey, NC, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at her home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Pastor Victor Baines will deliver the word of comfort. The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes, Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through is also scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding her in death were: her husband, Curtis Eugene Cherebin; her parents, Roosevelt and Rosella Canady; brothers, Roosevelt “Charlie” Canady, Robert Canady, Roy “Butch” Canady and Carl Canady and one sister, Beatrice Canady Locus.

Cherished memories are left to: one daughter, Rosalyn C. Knight (Ricky) of Wilson, NC; one granddaughter, Amber Canady of Wilson. NC; one grandson, Ricky Emmanuel of Wilson, NC; two sisters, Eloise Ellis and Elsie Ridley, both of Bailey, NC; god-daughter, Jacqueline Ellis of Lucama, NC; sister-in-law, Lorraine King of New York; a special friend, Annette Campbell of New York; a long-time friend, Harrell Chavis of Raleigh, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther’s King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC, 27893.
