Mr. Bobby "The Bicycle Man" Woodard, 71,of 702 Cemetery Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.
The graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC. Pastor Mary Jo Atkinson will deliver the word of comfort.
A public walk-through is scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Preceding him in death were: his parents, Emma Cooper Woodard and Lonnie Woodard; one sister, Annie Mae Woodard; four brothers, Otha Davis, John Thomas Woodard, Joseph Woodard and Lonnie James Woodard.
Left to remember precious memories are: his long life companion, Naomi Jones of the home; four children, Denise Michelle Jenkins (Grover), Akeya Barrett, Cassandra Woodard and Burt Lee (Gwen); twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four sisters, Bessie Lee Woodard Hardy, Nancy Ann McArthur and Bettie Jean Jackson, all of Wilson, NC and Betsy Ann Hardy (Donnie) of Hopewell, VA; two brothers, Chester Lee Woodard (Bonnie) and Dennis James Woodard, both of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends, including a very dear friend, E.L. Best.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
