Bobby "Barbara" Ruffin

Ms. Bobby Ruffin, also known as " Barbara", 76, of 720 New Street, S., Wilson, NC passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, 1705 Tarboro Street, Wilson, NC.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 20202, at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC

A public visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., also at Stevens Funeral Home.

Preceding her in death were: two sons, Jerome Ruffin and Nathan Ruffin; her parents, Plummer Ruffin and Mary Ruffin; one sister, Mary Lee Barnes and three brothers, Plummer Ruffin, Jr., Cornellius “Cull” Ruffin and Edgar Ruffin.

 Left to cherish fond and precious memories are: two daughters, Shirley Ruffin of the home and Sandra Battle (Vernon, Sr.); one son, Willie Ray Ruffin (Kay Wanda); six granddaughters, Annjennette Morgan (Derrick), April Grantham (Lavoris), Cassandra Batchelor (Darry), Shanicke Hinnant, Brianna Langston and Jaonna Hudson; five grandsons, Vernon L. Battle, Jr., Edwin   Langston, Jr. Jaylan Ruffin, Jerome Ruffin, Jr. and Travious Ruffin; three great granddaughters, Tesaih Grantham, Curiney Cain and Tiana Grantham; seven great grandsons, Raequawn Anderson,  Davione Bieri, Mallory Cain, Jr., Markel Cannady, Lavoris Grantham, Jr. and Travoris Collins; six sisters, Illene Barnes, Dorsey Ruffin, Janice Ruffin, Hilda Moore, Joyce Ward and Cleo Thomas (Robert); five brothers, Jay Ruffin, Sylvester Ruffin, Ricky Ruffin , Clay Ruffin (Doretha) and Christopher Bernard Ruffin; a special nephew, Eddie Lee Ruffin; one aunt, Esther Ruffin; two sisters-in-law, Vickie Ruffin and Willie Mae Ruffin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
