Bishop J. N. Perry, Jr. Obituary

Bishop Joseph N. Perry, Jr., 80, of 5000-A Tarts Mill Road, Wilson, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at L. N. Forbes O.F.W.B. Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, SE, Wilson, NC.  Bishop James E. Tripp, Jr. will officiate.  Entombment is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 12 noon at Evergreen Memorial Garden, 2704 Nash Street, NW, Wilson, NC.

The service will be streamed live on Perry's Temple Full Gospel OFWB Church Facebook page starting 15 min before the service.

***No one will be allowed to enter L. N. Forbes Tabernacle for the service until 10:15 a.m.***

For the health and well-being of all attendees, the family is asking the following:

       *  Masks required for all attendees

       *  There will be a limit of 200 guests (Excluding family)

       *  Everyone will have to adhere to a temperature check

       *  Live streaming will be made available for those who are not able to attend (Link to watch is on Facebook~ Perry's Temple Full Gospel OFWB Church)

       *  There will be no public viewing until the conclusion of the service for attendees only

        *The family will greet the friends at the service only

Bishop Perry was preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph Perry, Sr. and Lillie Mae Ward; his son, Andre Perry and two sisters, Barbara Moffett and Beulah Mae Spencer.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories to: his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Pastor Annie L. Perry; his son, Jermaine Perry; two daughters, Michelle Little (Randy) and Angela Perry; his daughter-in-law, Sandra Perry; two brothers-in-law, George Spencer and William Gorham; his sister-in-law, Joann Hunter; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, foster children, Godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
