Bishop Howard "Bud" Elmor Artis Obituary

Bishop Howard Elmor Artis, affectionally known as "Bud" 78, of 501 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at his home.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Greater Morning Star Apostolic Holiness Assembly Church, 705 S. Sycamore Street, Fremont, NC. The burial will follow in Turner Swamp Cemetery, 549 State Road 1520, Fremont, NC.

A public walk-through visitation is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Greater Morning Star Apostolic Holiness Assembly Church, 705 S. Sycamore Street, Fremont, NC. An inspirational wake will follow the public walk-through visitation at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
