Bishop Henry M. Joyner, affectionately known as Doll, 81, of Laurel, MD, formerly of Wilson, NC, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the son of the late Oby and Gladys Taylor Joyner.  Local survivors include his only sister, Paulette Sharpe (Marvin) of Wilson, NC, nieces, Rhonda Joyner and Cierra Sharpe Walker of Wilson, NC. A host of in-laws (Thorne Family), cousins, and friends 

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 am at Impact DMV Church, 5335 First Place NE, Washington, DC.

A visitation will also be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 9:30 am prior to the service at Impact DMV Church.
