Beverly Sadell Hall

The funeral service for Ms. Beverly Sadell Hall, 55, is scheduled for Sunday, February 9, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Dr. Connie Ballard will deliver the eulogy. The burial will follow in the Hamilton Burial Gardens.

Beverly Sadell Hall was born June 14, 1964, to Archie Ray Artis Sr. and Joyce Ellis in Wilson, North Carolina.  On February 4, 2020, she gained her heavenly wings and is now resting in peace. 

She was reared in Wilson County and received her formal education with the Wilson County Public School System.  Beverly was an all-around people person and would do anything for you if she could.  She really enjoyed family time and her family meant everything to her.  Taking care of her grandchildren was one of her passions.

Beverly was preceded in death by: her brother, Dennis Ray Archer.

She leaves memories that will never fade to: her son, Jabbary Artis (Brandee) and her daughter, Chakela Knight (Charles); one step son, Antonio Poole; one step daughter, Demetrice Poole; three    granddaughters, Lanijah Williams, Kashanti Smith and Harmani Artis Pender; six grandsons, Jahvante Knight, Vonterrius Smith, Jataris   Artis, Cameron Williams, Zahmir Knight and Greyson Knight; two great grandsons, Noah Poole and Carter Williams; her parents, Jonah and Joyce Ellis; four brothers, Archie Ray Artis Jr., Coley Clay, Corey Artis and Alion Archer; two sisters, Victoria Harris and Alicia Harris; two aunts, Shirley Smith and Marshaline Thompson; one uncle, Dennis Artis; two special friends, Olympia Hayes and Ruby Rice; one special daughter, Rebecca Pender and a host of other family and lifelong friends.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
