Arthur Lee Winstead, Jr.

Mr. Arthur Winstead, Jr., 72, of 2506 Albany Lane, Wilson, NC passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 12 noon at L. N. Forbes Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.  Bishop Willie Thomas will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.  Due to the COVID Pandemic, the family will limit the visitation of friends at the residence, 2506 Albany Lane, Wilson, NC, to Thursday, January 14, 2021  from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. 

The public walk-through is scheduled from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  

Mr. Winstead was preceded in death by:  his parents, Arthur Lee Winstead, Sr. and Annie E. Barnes Winstead and one brother, Marvin Winstead.

He leaves many loving and cherished memories to:  his wife, Maude Brown Winstead of the home; three sons, Gregory Daniels of Stantonsburg, NC, Krishan Winstead of Wilson, NC and Rodney Winstead of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Evongela Daniels of Stanstonsburg, NC; two step-daughters, Jewell Farrar (Kwana) and Jasmine Carrington, both of Raleigh, NC; two foster children, Ebony Williams and Scottiara Williams, both of the home; three grandchildren, Tiphanie, Kyndall and Londyn; one brother, Roy Lee Winstead, Sr. (Lenda) of Wilson, NC; three uncles, Willie "T" Barnes and Bobby Barnes, both of Wilson, NC and Carl Barnes of MD; two aunts, Marjorie Sizemore of Wilson, NC and Clara Lee Coley of Spring Hope, NC; one sister-in-law, Wanda Brown Renfrow (Jerry) of Wilson, NC; two brothers-in-law, Leavy Brown (Johanna) of Clayton, NC and Melvin Reid of Lucama, NC; three nieces; one nephew; and a host of cousins, other special relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
