Arthur Lee Winstead, Sr.

Mr. Arthur Lee Winstead, Sr., 93, passed on March 21, 2018 at Wilson Medical Center. 

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Saint Luke FWB Church, 311 Church Street, Stantonsburg, NC.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Along with his loving wife, Annie Barnes Winstead,  Arthur was preceded in death by his son, Marvin Winstead ; parents, Luetta and Connie Winstead and his brother, Jacell Winstead.  

Arthur is survived by two sons, Arthur Winstead, Jr. (Maude) and Roy Winstead, Sr. (Lenda) both of Wilson, North Carolina.  Eight grandchildren, Evongela Daniels of Wilson, NC Anissa Whitby-Daniels (Richard) of Winston Salem, NC, Greg Daniels of Wilson, NC, Roy Winstead Jr. (Michelle) of Raleigh NC, Latasha Winstead-Bennett of Raleigh, NC, Krishan Winstead of Wilson, NC, Rodney Winstead of Decatur, GA, and Laura Williams-Harris (Stevie) of Raleigh, NC. Nine Great-grandchildren, Richard Jr., Tiphanie, Myles, Rachard, Kyndall, Londyn, Kelcey, Ricco and Cameron to each of you, he loved you all   One nephew, Connie Winstead of Alexandria, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.
