Mrs. Angela Teresa Brown-Reid, 64, of 4826 Saint Mary Church Road, Wilson, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at her home.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2021 at St. Rose Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 605 South Douglas Street, Wilson, NC at 12 noon. Pastor Rondric Coppedge will deliver the message and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.
The public walk-through will also be on Saturday from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service at St. Rose Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ.
The family is so grateful for all calls, texts and especially your prayers during this most difficult time. Due to COVID-19, the family will be receiving friends on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at her brother-in-law and sister's home, Jerry and Wanda Renfrow, 2613 Willis Court, Wilson, NC and at the funeral service.
Mrs. Brown-Reid was preceded in death by her parents, Leavy Brown and Mary Ruth Moore Brown.
She leaves loving and cherished memories to: her husband, Melvin T. Reid of the home; one daughter, Camilla Dawson Wilson of Cary, NC; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Wilson of Cary, NC; two sisters, Wanda Brown Renfrow (Jerry) and Maude Brown Winstead (Arthur), all of Wilson, NC; one brother, Cornell Brown (Joanna) of Clayton, NC; four nieces, Ashley Renfrow, Gerri Renfrow, Jewell Carrington and Jasmine Carrington; three nephews, William Renfrow, Jordan Brown and David Brown; one goddaughter, Bria Rogers; two brothers-in-law, Charles Reid (Diane) and Vernon Reid; two sisters-in-law, Marion Dixon and Corliss Reid; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
