Alice M. Ellis Smith

Mrs. Alice M. Ellis Smith 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021at her home in Wilson, NC.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC 27893. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC. 

Along with her husband, Alice was preceded in death by: one son, Steven Smith; two sisters, Marie Speight and Eula Leach, and one brother, Roosevelt Ellis.

Wonderful and loving memories are left to be  cherished by: two sons, Anthony Ellis (Eujena) of Stantonsburg, NC, and Burton Smith, Jr. (Leslie) of Asheboro, NC; two daughters, Patricia Smith of the home, and    Janet Worthington of Wilson, NC; seven grandchildren, Tonya Smith (Craig), Elasha Ellis (Tiffany), and Jasmina Worthington, all of Wilson, Anthony Ellis, Jr., Tashelle Smith, and Tricia Smith, all of Greene County, NC, and Allison Brown of Smithfield, NC, Lahetta Hussin, Pettie Cable and Richard Green; six great grandchildren, Shakevia Smith, Zakvil Smith, both of Wilson, NC,  Kelton Flores of Smithfield, NC, Zakayla Smith,  My’Angel Brimage and My’Tatyana Brimage, all of Greene County, NC; two sisters, Mary Ellis and Anna  Ellis, both of Wilson, NC; two brothers, Thon Ellis (Dano’s) of New Jersey and Robert Ellis (Elizabeth) of Philadelphia; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
