Ms. Agnes Angeline Harris Locus, 89, of 312 E. Finch St., Wilson, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at her home.
The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 209 E. Pender St., Wilson, NC. The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC. Pastor Maurice Barnes will Officiate.
Ms. Locus was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Locus, Sr.; her parents, Benjamin Amos Harris, Sr. and Pauline Artis Harris; three brothers, William Harris, Edward Harris and Benjamin Harris, Jr.; and two sisters, Vera H. Wilson and Pauline H. Brownlee.
She leaves many loving and cherished memories to: her daughter, Loree Locus of Wilson; a niece and nephew whom she reared, Myra Desir (Franck) and Thomas Brownlee, Jr. (Deborah), both of Texas; a special niece, Linda Barnes of Wilson; niece, Tonya Jackson (Jamie) of Kentucky; two nephews, William Oates (Sheran) of Wilson and Dr. Keith M. Harris of California; Special friends, Jane Bridgers, Virginia Maddox, Yvonne Lofton, Dazzelle Pearson and Earlene Ricks; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a very special thank-you to the staff of Davita Dialysis, Dr. Nirav M. Jasani, Earlene Ricks and Denise Harris. Your dedication and kindness will forever linger in our memories.
The public visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m., at Calvary Presbyterian Church, prior to the funeral service.
