Willie Morris Phillips

Mr. Willie Morris Phillips, 65, of 3112 Welford Place, Wilson, NC passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.  

A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.  The family will be receiving friends at the residence on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Phillips and Clara Sylver Phillips.

He leaves cherished memories to: his wife Donna Bass-Phillips of the home; two sons, Jonathan L. Phillips and Jeremy A. Phillips both of the home; three brothers, James Roy Phillips (Charlene) of Farmville, NC, Charles Phillips (Debra) of Raleigh, NC and Danny Phillips (Annette Edwards) of Wilson, NC; four sisters, Patricia Brinson (Richard) of Goldsboro, NC, Phyllis Jean Phillips of Charlotte, NC, Quanita Smith (Darron) of Rocky Mount, NC and Carolyn Best (Dennis) of Minnesota; one sister-in-law, Marion Craig (George) of New York; one brother-in-law, Jerry Jerome Bass of Rocky Mount, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

The family will meet at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday afternoon at Stevens Funeral Home in preparation for the memorial service.

Services are being conducted by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
