Mr. Willie Parker, Jr.  69, of Yanceyville, NC, formerly of Wilson, NC, passed away on August 2, 2018.

The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway,  Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home.

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Rountree Parker; father, Willie Parker, Sr; mother, Lessie Cummings Parker; sister, Gloria Parker, and two  brothers, Jimmy L. Parker and Wester Mercer.

He Leaves cherished memories to: two sons, Willie Parker, III of Snellvillle, GA and Wesley Tyrone Parker (Patrice) of  Wilson, NC; three daughters, Teresa Parker of Durham, NC, Sheila Parker Newkirk (keith) of Wilson, NC and Tuwanda Wardlow (Perez) of Winston Salem , NC; ten grandchildren; four sisters, Betty Parker Barnes, Patricia Parker Higgs, Peggy Doris Parker and Beverly Lucas all of Wilson, NC;  six brothers, Jerry C. Parker, James Alvin Parker and Michael E. Parker all of Wilson, NC, Larry R. Parker (Oddett) of German, Danny C. Parker of Elm City, NC and Orster Mercer of Wilson, NC; one sister-in-law, Deloris Kent of Elm City, NC; two brothers-in-law, Troy Rountree and Jimmie Rountree both of Elm City; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
