William J. Hooks, Jr.

Mr. William J. Hooks, Jr., 59, passed away on  October 2, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

The funeral service is Monday, October 8, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC

A public visitation will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home.

Mr. Hooks was preceded in death by his parents , William Hooks, Sr. and Essie Mae Hooks and one sister, Peggy Hooks Mae.

He leaves many cherished memories to: three sons, Nekita Hooks of Raleigh, NC, Brandon Hooks of Atlanta , GA and Roshon Hooks of Marietta, GA; one sister, Dorothy Johnson (Kelly) of Jonesboro, GA; three nephews, Moses Evans, Isaiah Hooks (Diane) and Gregory Hooks (Sandra); five grandchildren, Destiny Artist, Nysheed Hooks, Sydney Hooks, McKane Hooks, and Havannah Hooks; a special niece, Tammie Petaway (Chris) of Atlanta, GA; great niece, Mei-Joi Evans; special cousin, Sheila Lucas of Wilson, NC; mother-in-law, Frances Joyner; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
