Thomas Cooper, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Cooper, Jr., 85, of 5 Candlewood Court, Woodlawn, MD, passed away on July 6, 2018 at his home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Rocky Branch Church Cemetery in Kenly, NC.  

A public visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home. 

Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Cooper, Sr. and Ruth Boykin Cooper; two sisters, Kathleen Ross and Annie Doris Carlton Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his memories:two sisters,  Lucy V. Cooper of Brooklyn, NY and Shirley M. Tomlinson (Lott) of Orlando, Fl.; six nephews; three nieces; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Audrey Neal, 4240 Kent Road, Wilson, NC, where they will assemble on Saturday at 1:00 pm in preparation for the funeral procession. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
