Therman Lee Brown

Mr. Therman Lee Brown, 75, of Wilson, NC, passed away on September 25, 2019 at Lifecare Hospital of NC in Rocky Mount, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

The family will receive friends at 601 Ward Blvd., Wilson, NC, where they will assemble on Saturday at 12:00 noon in preparation for the funeral procession. 

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jesse Brown, Herman Brown and Norman Brown; one sister, Alice Brown Davis; one sister-in-law, Wanda Jenkins; and one son, Carl Brown. 

He leaves to cherish his precious memories:  his wife of over 30 years, Elnora Bernice Worsley Brown of Raleigh, NC; one daughter, Wanda Denise Brown of Wilson, NC; one step-daughter, Tywanda Joyner of Raleigh, NC; one brother, James Brown of Wilson, NC; one sister, Geneva Brown Mayberry of Newark, NJ; five sisters-in-law, Madeline Joyce Woodard Brown, Dorothy Newton Brown, Dorothy Gorham Brown and Angela Jenkins, all of Wilson, NC, and Mamie Leach of Sanford, NC; five brothers-in-law, Tyrone Worsley and Moses Worsley of Queens, NY, Tony Jenkins and Ricky Jenkins of Wilson, NC, and Richard Jenkins of Durham, NC; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one step-grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including two special friends, Deacon Herbert Lucas and Marvin Watson.
