Ronald Earl Harris

-Ronald Earl Harris, 62, of Newark, NJ passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019, in Newark, NJ. 

The service is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.  Minister SE Daughtridge will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.  The public viewing will be Friday, June 14, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.

Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Harris; one sister, Brenda Harris; and one niece, Clarissee Harris.  

He leaves loving and cherished memories to:  his wife, Romain Harris; one daughter, Nekira Harris; three sons, Tarik Barnes, Muhammad Barnes (Rahnisha) and Malik McAllister (Nikisha); four grandchildren, Nasir, Zanylah, Korin, Zahir, Malik and Malachi; his mother, Geraldine Harris; one sister, Barbara J. Harris; one brother, Timothy G. Harris; two nieces, Almesha Greer (Michael) and Tamika Harris; a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews. cousins and other relatives and friends.

Services are being handled by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
