Queen Ester Elizabeth Thomas

Funeral services for Mrs. Queen Ester Elizabeth Thomas, 62, of 602 Rountree Street, Wilson, NC will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC beginning at 11:00 am.  The committal services will follow in the Hamilton Burial Gardens located on Lane Street Ext., Bishop George T. Atkinson will deliver the Words of Comfort.

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by; her parents, George and Louise Thomas and two brothers, George Thomas and James Thomas.

She leaves precious memories to her husband, Ricky Evans of the home; four sisters, Paula Fullwood of Greensboro, NC, Bernice Dickerson (Herbert) of Wilson, NC, Pearlie Thomas (Roosevelt) of Wilson, NC and Kathy Winstead (David) of Ayden, NC; three brothers, John Lee Thomas (Frances) of Rocky Mount, NC, Jessie Thomas of Richmond, VA and William Thomas of New Jersey and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including a very special niece and God-child, DeEtte Thomas-Richardson.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.  All other times the family will be receiving friends at 602 Rountree Street, Wilson, NC.
