Mrs. Nellie T. May of Wilson North Carolina, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the age of 97.
Funeral services are private at the family's request.
Nellie T. May was born in Black Creek North Carolina on July 23.1921 to Nellie Tomlin Tucker and Joseph Tucker. In 1940, Nellie had her first born son, Billy Ray Tucker. In 1943, she married Nathaniel Johnson and they were blessed with two children, Nathaniel Tucker and Johnny Edward Johnson Sr. Later, she married Willie H. May who took her children as his own.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie H. May and one son, Johnny Edward Johnson, Sr.
Mrs. May leaves cherished memories to: two sons, Billy Ray Tucker and wife, Flora Tucker, and Nathaniel Tucker and wife, Gladys Tucker, and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
