Mother Carrie Mae Bullock Obituary

Mother Carrie Mae Bullock, 82, of 5128 Anthony Road, Wilson, NC, transitioned from labor to reward on December 26, 2019.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 12:00 pm at L.N. Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, North Carolina. The committal service will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery. Bishop J.N. Perry will deliver the Words of Comfort.

A public visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC. At other times the family will be receiving friends at 5128 Anthony Road, Wilson, NC.

Preceding her in death were: Her husband, Johnnie Gray Bullock Sr. Her siblings, Herman Rountree, Mamie Mitchell, Troy Rountree, Raymond Rountree, Clarence Rountree, Bessie Evans, Josh Rountree, Richmond Rountree, Rosetta Rountree, Raeford Rountree, Jr. Alean Sharp and Nellie Bullock all preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her many precious memories, two daughters, Vickie Anderson (David) of Elgin, South Carolina; Demetrice Arrington (Michael) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; two sons, Johnny Bullock, Jr. (Tauchanna) of Prince George, Virginia. Alfonza Bullock of the home, her devoted guardian and caretaker, and one stepson, Danny Barnes of Wilson, North Carolina; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
