Maurice Williams

Mr. Maurice Williams, 40, of  617 Walnut Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on November 6, 2017.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by one uncle, John Williams and one aunt, Geneva Williams.

He leaves cherished memories to: one son, Jaylen Curry of Wilson, NC; his parents, Anthony Kates and Sandra Cox Williams;  two sisters, Christina Cox of Bailey, NC and Casoundra Cox of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandmother, Eva Williams of Goldsboro, NC; four uncles, Michael Williams (Patricia) and George Williams (Beverly) both of Goldsboro, NC, James Lee Kates of Washington, DC and Jeffrey Kates of Arizona; five aunts, Patricia Barnes (James) of Fayetteville, NC, Jackie West (Roosevelt) of Goldsboro, NC, Earline Kates of Pikeville, NC, Teresa Harvey (Calvin) and Felecia Kates both of Richmond, VA; three nephews, Montrail Speight, Jr. and Rashad Cox both of Bailey, NC and Jaheim Cox of Chapel Hill, NC; one great uncle, William L. Kates of Goldsboro; two great aunts, Carolyn Kates Smith (Thomas) of Southfield, MI and Aunt Doris; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
