Margaret Ruth Parker

Ms. Margaret Ruth Parker, 72, of Elm City, NC,passed away on October 27, 2019 at Elm City Assisted Living Facility.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Elder Ernest Melton will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by: her parents, Elder Rufus Parker and Ann Parker and her stepmother, Nell Parker.

She leaves cherished memories to: two daughters, Diane Spencer (Gary) of Greenville, NC and Stacy Parker of Wilson, NC; one grandchild, Phillip Daron Spencer of Greenville; one brother, Rufus Earl Parker (Patricia) of Wilson, NC; five sisters, Mary Hooker of New York, Shirley Thomas, Marie Hinnant and Patricia Simms all of Wilson, NC and Karen Parker of Lucama, NC; two uncles, Zadock Parker of Greenville, NC and Ernest Barnes of Farmville, NC; one aunt, Betty Connor of Connecticut; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
