Mabel Jean Farmer Obituary

Mrs. Mabel Jean McNeil Farmer, 67, of Wilson , NC, passed away on April 4, 2018 at Wilson Medical Center.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at LN Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr., Parkway, Wilson,NC, with an inspirational wake service beginning at 6:00 pm.

Mrs. Farmer was  preceded by her husband, Willie “TIP” Farmer; her parents, Roscoe and Mabel Lee McNeil; two sisters, Shirley McNeil and Geraldine McNeil and one brother, Willie McNeil. 

She leaves cherished memories to: her four children, Tammy Parker of Wilson, NC, Louis McNeil (Cindy) of Atlanta, GA, Vicky McNeil of Wilson, NC and Rickey McNeil of Rocky Mount; three brothers, Roscoe McNeil (Elizabeth), Elder Luther McNeil (Irene), both of Rocky Mount, and Charlie McNeil (Diane) of Sharpsburg, NC; four sisters, Sylvia Bobbitt(Herbert, Jr) of Nashville, NC, Earline Holden, Alice McNeil and Yvonne McNeil, all of Wilson, NC; brother-in-law and sister-in-law,  Fred Farmer and Jean Farmer of Pine Tops;one son-in-law, Charles Parker of Wilson, NC;   twelve grandchildren, Marcus Parker, Jamael Parker, Darrus Parker, Uwezo Flewellen, Askari Flewellen, Shanice McNeil, Makita McNeil, Keonna McNeil, Roxie Davis, Rickell McNeil, Rayshon McNeil and Dominique McNeal; thirteen great grandchildren, Isaiah Parker, Mariah Parker, Elijah Parker, Terrell Battle, Elijah Battle, Ma’kinzzi Battle, Majesty McNeil, King McNeil, Trevion McNeil, Kemila McNeil, Xzavier McNeil, Makylie Blount and Makenzie Blount; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
