Lillie Mae Holmes

Mrs.. Lillie Mae Holmes, 84, of Wilson, NC, passed away on February 26, 2018.

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, March 2, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Saint Rose Church of Christ Disciples Of Christ, 605 S. Douglas Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Lillie was preceded in death by: her parents James and Lillie Pender; three sisters, Artelia S. Buchanan,  Ometa S. Barnes, Vera Pope; three brothers, Moses Spell, Isaac Pender and James Pender, Jr. 

Precious and lasting memories are cherished by her nieces and nephews:  Joyce Miles as her caregiver for five years; Alice Artis, Jean Spells, Janet Underwood,   Angela Pope, Charsena Thomas (James), Charles Pope (Cheryl) and Leroy Barnes (Velma), all of Wilson, NC;  Fifteen great-nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends including a very special cousin and friend, Ella Mae Webb. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
