Kera Dy'Shiek Barnes-Spells

Funeral services for Ms. Kera Dy'Shiek Barnes-Spells will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Wilson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 513 Barnes Street, Wilson, NC.  Minister Isaac Barnes will deliver the Words of Comfort.  The committal service will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

The family will be receiving friends during a Book Signing on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.

 She leaves precious memories to: her son Zy'Mirion Barnes Carr of the home; her mother, Bobbie Jean Barnes of the home; her father, James Spells Sr. of Wilson NC; a special father, Earl Boykin of Wilson NC; four sisters, Ira Barnes (Tee) of the home, Carolyn Sessoms (Garland), Sharon Reese of Wilson NC, and Amanda Bland of NY; six brothers,Quinton Barnes (Latifa) of the home, James Spells (Tracey), Joel Spells (Tanisha) and Chris Bland all of NY, Ricky Spells (Ja'el) of Hampton VA, and Chris Spells of Portsmith VA;  two step-sisters, Christy and Latasha Blue both of Wilson NC; grandmother, Helen Barnes Forman of Wilson, NC;  six aunts Shirley Batts, Annie Farmer, Edna Barnes, Linda Barnes, and Shirley Hart (John) all of Wilson, NC; five uncles, Willie Barnes, James Barnes, Nathaniel Spells (Yvonne), Kenneth Spells (Mable) all of Wilson, NC and  Greg Spells of NY; god mother, Shelia Lane; three god sisters, Tiffanie, Tabitha, and Amanda; a special cousin, Tyra Brown; special friends, (just to name a few), Damian Archor, Karisma, Tiera, Rayvon,  Quanique, Yasmine, Sasha, Mya, Ciera, Jayla and Moody.
