Jessie L. Williams

Jessie L. Williams, 98, of 7454 Bartee Bridge Road, Stantonsburg, NC, passed away on March 09,2019 at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson North Carolina. 

The funeral service is Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:30 am at Washington Branch FWB Church 716 Washington Branch Church Road, Snow Hill, NC. 

A public visitation will also be held on Saturday, March  16, 2019 from from 11:00 am until 11:30 am  at Washington Branch.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by both her husbands Ernest Ward and James Williams Jr.; son Grover Ward, daughter Emma V. Ward, and 11 siblings

She leaves cherished memories to her grandchildren: Dwight Ward of Arizona, Jackie Ward of Yonkers, NY, Stephanie Ward of White Plains, NY, Carlos Koonce of  Stantonsburg, NC,

Ernest Koonce of NY, and Grover Ward Jr. (Loretta) of York, SC. Marvin E. Mitchell (Brenda) of Greensboro, NC (special nephew). Angela Williams of

Raleigh, NC and Maxine Terry of Greensboro, NC (special nieces). Sister-In-Laws Grace Lewis (Joseph) of Wilson, NC, Geraldine Legree (Theodore) of MD. 17 great

grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
