James Earl Sharpe

Mr. James Earl Sharpe, 78, of Wilson, NC, passed away on August 28, 2017 at Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm at L N Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Sharpe was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Sharpe and Bessie Guess Sharpe.

He leaves cherished memories to: one sister, Juanita Sharpe Williams (Joe) of Charlotte, NC; a special niece, Shirley Smith and her husband, William Earl, who were dedicated and loyal caregivers; one sister-in-law, Vonnie Lee Sharpe of  Wilson, NC; NC; a great friend, who was like a sister to him, Betty S. Winstead; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Earl Smith, 4139 Highway 264 Alt. E, Wilson, NC where they will assemble on Sunday at 1:00 pm in preparation for the funeral procession.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
