Mr. James Earl Anderson, 67, of 4547 Evansdale Road, Wilson, NC, passed away on June 28, 2018 at his home.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
A wake service will also be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, James Arthur Anderson and Thelma Gray Anderson and two brothers, Donald Anderson and Curtis Anderson.
He leaves cherished memories to:his wife, Brenda J. Anderson of the home; one son, James Earl Anderson, Jr. (fiancee, Sandra Pender) of Wilson, NC; three daughters, Gloria Mitchell (Eric), Melissa Anderson (Robert) and Terry Parker all of Wilson, NC; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur Lee Anderson (Niecy), Larry Anderson (Gwen) and Marvin Anderson all of Wilson, NC; seven sisters, Mary A. Hilliard (William) of Wilson, NC, Martha A. Ross (Frank) of Selma, AL., Cynthia Anderson of Wilson, NC, Jessie Anderson Whitsett (William) of Greensboro, N, Janice Anderson of Rocky Mount, NC, Betty Woodard of Wilson, NC; and Connie Chatman of Lucama, NC; five aunts, Pearlie B. Jones of Fremont, NC, Doretha Moody of Wilson, NC, Almeta Rawls (Paul) of Wilson, NC, Estella Anderson of Wilson, NC and Mary Harris of Baltimore, MD; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home, where they will assemble on Saturday at 12:00 noon in preparation for the funeral procession.
