James Arthur Pender, Jr.

Mr. James Arthur Pender, Jr., 54, of  6303 Ward Blvd.,  Wilson, NC, passed away on June 16, 2018.

The funeral service scheduled for Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway,  Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC. 

A Book Signing will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Pender was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Mae Rowe Pender.

He leaves many loving and cherished memories to: his father, James Arthur Pender, Sr. and step mother, Alfreda Pender; two brothers, Mario Ray Pender (LaTonya) of High Point, NC and Arnold Pender (Kimberly) of Wilson, NC; one step brother, Jospeh Hilliard (Alisha) of Charlotte, NC; one step sister, Tonya Hilliard of Southport, NC; two uncles, Dennis Pender (Ordred) of Bowie MD and Dillard Rowe (Carolyn) of Fort Washington, MD; eight aunts, Shirlene Beamon of West Orange, NJ, Deloris Pender of Bowie, MD, Betty Pender (William) of Bowie, MD, Sarah Davis of Washington, DC, Edith Lopes of Bowie, MD, Maggie Williams (James) of Newark, NJ, Ada Harris (Noah) of Wilson, NC and Gladys Rowe-Hunter (John) of Temple Hills, MD, a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including, a special friend and cousin, Debra Pender.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
