Helen J. Hyman

Evangelist Helen Jean Moses Hyman, 77 of 7301 Overhill Drive, NY, passed away May 21, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral Service's are scheduled for Friday, June 1, 2018, 11:00 am at Contending For The Faith Church, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC.  Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext, Wilson, NC.  A Public Visitation is scheduled for Thursday May 31, 2018, 3:00 - 6:00 PM at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.

Helen was preceded in death by: her parents, Daniel Moses and Essie Mae Howard Moses; one daughter, Shoshana Hyman; one sister, Bessie Moses and two brothers, Larry Moses and Perry Moses.

She leaves many precious and cherished memories to: her husband, George E. Hyman, Sr. of Wilson, NC; three sons, Paul Moses of Brooklyn, NY, George E. Hyman, Jr. (Nerisa) of Pomona, NY and Stephen Hyman (Angelia) of Wilson, NC; six daughters, Wanda Moses of Mahwah, NJ, Crystal Hines (Kevin) of Pomona, NY, Jenine Durham (Corey) of Durham, NC, Victoria Hyman of Pomona, NY, Jovanna Hyman of Brooklyn, NY and Jahniece Hyman of Pomona, NY; sixteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Margie Moses and Terry Moses both of Brooklyn, NY, Linda Moses and Katheen Allen (Robert) both of Rocky Mount, NC; four brothers, Willis Moses, Saul Moses, Jackie Moses and Darryl Moses all of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
