Genevieve Hinnant Neal

Mrs.. Genevieve Hinnant Neal, 70, of Wilson, NC passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Wilson Medical Center.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Life In The Word Ministries, 3677 US Highway 301 N., Wilson, NC. 

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

She was preceded in death by: her parents William “Bud” Hinnant and Tessie Hinnant; two sisters, Mary and Margeret and four brothers, Willie, Carl, Mark and Tommy.

Genevieve leaves cherished memories to: her husband, Robert Neal of the home; two daughters, Teresa Hinnant and Angela Knight both of Wilson, NC; three sons, Andre Neal of the home, John Neal (Laura) of Wilson, NC and Lee Neal of Wilson, NC; two sisters, Isalene Curtis (Vernon) and Cindy Simms (Duncan) of Wilson, NC; three brothers, James Hinnant (Helen), Robert Hinnant and Michael Hinnant (Wendy) all of Wilson, NC; five sisters-in-law, Roberta Harris (Jack), Rachel Hines , Jurea Lancaster, Brenda Arrington all of Rocky Mount and Susan Robertson of Baltimore, MD; two aunts, Bernice Barnes and Mary Washington both of Kenly, NC; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special lifelong friend, Mae Helen Smith.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
