Ethellean Reid Leach

Mrs. Ethellean Reid Leach, 83, of Washington, DC, formerly of Lucama and Sims, NC, passed away on March 4, 2018.

The funeral service scheduled for 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel,1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Turner Swamp Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, North Church Street, Eureka, NC, 27830.

A public visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. 

Mrs. Leach was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Leach Sr.; one son, Roosevelt Leach, Jr.; parents, George D. Reid and Rothia Fort Reid; five brothers, Luther Earl Stevens, Claude Reid, William Reid, George Clifton Reid and Elliot Reid. 

She leaves cherished memories to: three sons, Jerry Reid (Barbara) of Wilson, NC, George Leach and Elliot Leach both of Washington, DC; five daughters, Jo white (Charles, Sr.) and Janet Knight both of Wilson, NC, Barbara Nelson (Larry), Linda Bratcher and Candace Brown (Johnny) all of Washington, DC; fifteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren;  sixteen great great great grandchildren; one brother, Walter Donnell Stevens (Nannie) of Lucama, NC; two sisters, Ephigenia Jones of Goldsboro, NC and Etta Etheredge (Nathaniel) of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
