Mr. Ernest "ED" Hall," Coach Hall" 66, of 6647 US Highway 264 Alt., Stantonsburg, NC, transitioned from labor to reward on January 25, 2019, at Wilson Medical Center.
The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at L.N. Forbes O.F.W.B. Tabernacle, 1801 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, North Carolina.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, North Carolina.
An Inspirational Wake will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at L.N. Forbes O.F.W.B Tabernacle, 1801 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, North Carolina.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by: his parents, Ernest Hall, Jr. and Elizabeth Brown Hall; and one brother, Arthur Wayne Hall.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: two sisters, Brenda Hall-Copland of Clinton, MD and Ava Coleen Hall of Stantonsburg, NC; his “adopted son”, Kenneth E. Barnes (Monica) of Durham, N.C.; one uncle, Arthur B. Hall of Stantonsburg, N.C.; three aunts, Fronnie Mae Hall of Snowhill, N.C., Jackie Spears (Ron) and Etheleen Rodgers; one great aunt, Mary Sue Woodard of Stantonsburg, N.C.; one niece, B. Aisha Mahoney (Alvin) of Clinton, MD; adopted Mothers, Rose Mitchell and Ruby Council Barnes, both of Stantsonburg, NC.; longtime friends, Marjorie B. Hamm (William) of Clifton, VA, Debbie D. Yeager (Frank) of Stokesdale, NC, Darnella Gaskins-Barnes of Rocky Mount, NC and Nathaniel Grant, Jr. of Wilson, NC.; and personal friend, Brady Pinner of Wilson, N.C.
The family will be receiving friends at his home, 6647 US Highway 264 Alt., Stantonsburg, North Carolina.
