Eldress Betty Jo Crumel, 64, of 6334 Joyner Road, Elm City, NC, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Wilson Medical Center.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Chapel F.W.B. Church, 1507 Hadley Street, Wilson, NC. Pastor Mary J. Atkinson will officiate and burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC. The public viewing will be Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
Preceding her in death were: her parents, David ”Buddy” Williams and Mary Lizzie Williams and five siblings and one brother-in-law.
Precious and cherished memories are left to: her husband, Gregory Crumel of the home; one daughter, Betty Denise Williams; one son, Pastor Henry Andre Williams (Hope); six grandchildren, Tameika Williams, Tiara Williams, Cassidy Lucas, Latoya Williams, Jordan Williams and Tyler Lucas; five great-grandchildren, Destany Williams, DaNayah Revis, Zhy’Arieyah Williams, Damoni Williams and Christian Williams; four great-great grandchildren, Haley Williams, Harmony Williams, Jordyn Williams and A’Nylah Williams; three sisters, Elizabeth Pigford, Irene Wingate and Lillian Adeogu; her in-laws, Grover and Helen Crumel; one sister-in-law, Betty Joyce Crumel; two brothers-in-law, Grover Crumel, Jr. and Lee Crumel (Anetta) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
