Dennis Evans, Sr.

Mr. Dennis Evans,Sr., 62, of  5414 Lakehaven Court, Wilson, NC, passed away on April 11, 2018 at his home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Sandy Fork Baptist Church, 9197 Sandy Fork Road, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm on  Monday, April 16, 2018  at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. 

Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Sallie Mitchell Evans.

He leaves many cherished memories to: his wife, Belinda Evans of Union, NJ; three sons, Dennis Evans, Jr. (Tanita) and  JeVon Evans both of Newark, NJ and Justin Johnson of Greenville, NC; five grandchildren; one sister, Shelby Evans-Farmer (Nelson) of Wilson, NC; one brother, Damon Evans (Tonya) of Millville, NJ; two aunts, Marion Brown of Wilson, NC and Rachel Deans of Bailey, NC; three uncles, Chester Evans (Earline) of Simms, NC, Jessie Mitchell (Bessie) of Washington, DC and Clarence Mitchell of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends at the home, where they will assemble on Tuesday, at 12:00 noon in preparation for the funeral procession.
