Mrs. Deborah Ward Williams, 63, of 7030 Kingswood Circle, Stantonsburg, NC passed on May 26, 2019 at her home.
Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Sunday, June 9, 2019, 3:00 PM at L.N. Forbes Tabernacle, 1801 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC. A public visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 7, 2019, 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.
Deborah was preceded in death by: two husbands, Daniel Farmer and Junior “Butch” Langston; one granddaughter, Princess Miranda Ruffin; two brothers, Jimmie Ward and Moses Ward; one sister, Peggy Richards; three nieces, Lisa Hill, Nanette Ward and Quanisha Rouse; Linda Woodard, who was like a special sister to her and Trovin McCoy, Sr. who was like a special brother.
She leaves cherished memories to: her beloved husband, Jasper W. Williams of the home; three daughters, Tamuria Brooks (Nedrick) of Grovetown, GA, Jessica Ruffin (Bobby) and Willenscia Richardson both of Wilson, NC; eighteen grandchildren, Tyranny, Kameron, Kaileel, Kedarr, Terry, Justin, Meyatta, Juwan, Arkeather, Ke’Aaron, Mariyah, Madison, Jamari, De’Aaron, De’Kelvin, D’Erick, Chamya, D’Aaruis; three sisters, Mary Allmond of NY, Minnie Battle of MD and Annie Hill of NC; four brothers, Joseph Ward, Jr. and William Ward both of VA, Preston Ward (Kim) of Hinesville, GA and John Ward of the home; five sisters-in-law, Alice W. Faucette, Callie W. Gill, Dora W. Pettiford, Rebecca Fuller all of Oxford, NC and Sandra Ward of Rocky Mt., NC; two aunts, Moleen Ward, Annie Ward both of Wilson, NC; one uncle, Rev. BG Ward of Wilson, NC; nine special people, Shameekia Williams, Talisha Carmichael, Walter Hardy, Jr., Tracey Kenon, Carla Boykin, Nicole Applewhite, Kimberly Faulkrod, Pattie Barnes (Rob) and Tamillia Taylor (Juan) all of Wilson, NC; special childhood friends, Diana Suggs, Bessie Wilson, Jeanine Joyner, Angela Hinnant, Valarie Curry, Fransene Atkinson, Joan Moore, Dazella Horne, Bobby Moore all of Wilson, NC, Elnora B. Brown of Raleigh, NC and Jean Barnes of VA; a very special nephew whom she reared, Elder Larry E. Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
