Danny Ray Horne

Mr. Danny Ray Horne, 58, of 304 North Saratoga Street, Stantonsburg, NC, passed away on September 2, 2019.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home. 

He was preceded in death by: his father, William Horne; and two brothers, Bobby Ray Horne and Tracey Douglas Horne.

Mr. Horne leaves many lasting and loving memories to:  his wife, Gloria Snow-Horne of the home; on son, Dan Mario Horne of Wilson; one daughter, Dinisha Horne (fiancée Eugene) of Lucama, NC; five grandchildren, Marissa Horne, Devine Horne, Melek Barnes, Rianna Horne and Amari Horne; his mother, Dollie Cooper of Wilson; three sisters, Sheron Clay, Ellen Horne and Elaine Blue (Christopher), all of Wilson; four brothers, James Horne (Brenda), Diron Horne (Tina), and William Horne, all of Wilson, and Jesse Horne (Nora) of Greensboro; one uncle, Redman Cooper; six aunts, Dorothy Manning, Katie Mae Shelly (Frank), Odell  Langston, Jean Ruffin, Grace Barnes (Archie) and Patricia Barnes (Jimmie) (; his mother-in-law, Gloria Well-Pender (Archie) of Wilson; two sisters-in-law, Jennifer Snow and Tiffany Pender-Horne (Eric), all of Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Archie "Big Arc" Pender  and Joe Pender, both of Wilson; a very special friend, Quincy McCray of Wilson and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King,  Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
