Clarence R. Hinnant

Mr. Clarence Ray Hinnant, 65, of Selma NC, passed away on December 6, 2017 at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Smithfield, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke Church, 430 E. Elm Street, Goldsboro, NC.  Elder Melvin Herring will officiate and burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Hinnant was preceded in death by his parents, Hiawatha and Beatrice Hinnant; two brothers, Theodore Hinnant and Hiawatha Hinnant, Jr.; three sisters, Minnie Hinnant Barnes, Bettie Bunn Atkin and Bernice Bunn Welch.

He leaves cherished memories to: two daughters, Rayshonda King and Latoya Lewis both of Goldsboro, NC; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Jennie Mae Weaver (James) of Selma, NC, Naomi Bunn and Susan Bunn both of Newark, NJ; one brother, Jack Bunn, Jr. (Debbie) of Wilson, NC; two special nieces, Janese Holder and Nahkya Holder; two uncles; two aunts; one great aunt; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
