Clarence Jacobia Hoskins

Mr. Clarence Jacobia Hoskins, 67, of Wilson, NC, passed away on August 9, 2018 at Avante of Wilson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Jackson Chapel First Missionary Baptist Church, 571 E. Nash Street, Wilson, NC. Rev. Edith Parrish will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

Mr. Hoskins was preceded in death by:  his parents, Clarence and Nebraska Hoskins and one sister, Kathleen Hoskins Smith.

He leaves many cherished and loving memories to:  his loving wife, Lillie Hoskins; one daughter, Althea M. Brooks (Darrell) of New Haven, CT; one son, Aaron Marshall (Shawn) of Waterbury, CT; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Edith Parrish of Riverdale, MD, Angelyn Wall of Durham, NC, Velma Barnes (Leroy) Juletta Hoskins and Nebraska Hargett (Bobby), all of Wilson, NC; three brothers, Anthony Hoskins of Wilson, NC; Lyndon Hoskins and Brian Hoskins (Jackie), all of Greensboro, NC; two aunts; three uncles; four sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law; a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including two very special friends, Thomas Brownlee of Dallas, TX and Rosemary Anderson of Waterbury, CT.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
