Betty Jean Sostre

Ms. Betty Jean Sostre, 51, of Goldsboro, NC, passed away on June 26, 2018 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Betty was preceded in death by: her mother, Delia Moore; three brothers, Kenneth Moore, John Moore and Keith Moore; one sister, Ana Rivera.

She leaves precious memories to; her three children, Kennecia Jones (Justin) and Andre Jones (Courtney) both of Virginia, Dashaun King (Shyara) of Georgia; five grandchildren, Mason, Dashaun Jr., Adrian, Aleah and Kyren (Wank Wank) with whom she shared a very special bond and kept a smile on her face during her illness; four brothers, Lorenzo Jackson (Mary), James Moore, Christopher Moore, Anthony Moore all of Wilson, NC; three sisters, Maria Sostre of Georgia, Leshonda Rivera and Ana Rivera both of Palatka, Florida; one special uncle, Joseph Jenkins; one special aunt, Rosa Jenkins; one sister-in-law, Crystalyn Jones of Wilson, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including four very special friends, Vanessa, Sylvia, Lucy and Teresa.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
