Archie D. Harris

Mr. Archie Darnell Harris, 63, of 2107 Cockran Street Wilson, NC, passed away on August 4, 2018.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. The eulogy will be delivered by Bishop Willie T. Thomas. 

A public visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Harris was preceded in death by: his daughter, Bonisha Hamm and his mother, Willie Mae Taylor; two sisters, Wendy Harris and Joyce Harris.

He leaves many cherished memories to: one son, Randy Barnes of Elm City; two daughters, India Langley (Toi) of  Wilson, NC and Kisha Barnes of Elm City; eight grandchildren; his father, Rev. Archie Harris, Sr. of Wilson, NC; one brother, Eddie Harris of Wilson, NC; seven sisters, Cathy Ruffin (Terry), Diana Powell, Shelia Harris and Janet Harris all of Wilson, NC, Ella Harris (BeBe) of High Point, NC, Royce McKinstin of Lumberton, NC and Mabaline Davis  (Milton) of NC; and  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
