Apostle Stanley E. McKinney, 65, of 302 Pine Crest Drive, Wilson, NC, passed away on November 26, 2018 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC.
The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Impact Global Ministries, 2503 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1,2018 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Apostle McKinney was preceded in death by his parents, William Howard Blount and Mary Elnora Collins and one brother, Robert Lee Bryant.
He leaves to cherish his memories to: his wife, Shirley Jean Hargrove McKinney of the home; three sons, Robert Lee McKinney of Rocky Mount, NC, Shone Ray Williams (Andrea) of Wilson, NC and Tyrone Eugene Williams of CT; one daughter, LaShea McKinney of Wilson, NC; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Cynthia Blount of Baltimore, MD; three brothers, James Gregory McKinney of Washington, DC, Glenard Blount and Lenard Blount both of Baltimore, MD; five sisters-in-law, Renda Simmons of Elm City, NC, Lena Adams (Harry) , Geraldine Anderson and Beverly Miller all of Wilson, NC, and Judy Yelverton (William Earl) of Bailey, NC; four brothers-in-law, Ronald Earl Miller of Greenville,NC, Charles Linberg Barnes (Irene) of Stantonsburg, NC, Clifton Earl Johnson, and Reverend Russell Miller (Lois) all of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home where they will assemble on Sunday at 11:00 am in preparation for the funeral procession.
Service are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
