Annie Doris Barnes Eason

Mrs. Annie Doris Barnes Eason, 80, of 1123 Churchill Ave, Wilson, NC passed away on March 10, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

The funeral services is scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Saint Rose Church of Christ DOC, 605 S. Douglas Street, Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mrs. Eason was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Eason; grandson, Brian Mitchell; parents, John Sutton and Clara Artis and two sisters, Shirley Moody and Virginia Woodard.

She leaves cherished memories to: four sons, Ricky Lee Eason (Angela), Michael Ray Eason (Tawanda) and Minister Earl Eason (Trinnie), all of Wilson, NC and Dennis Martin Eason (Minister Rose) of Lucama, NC; one daughter, Brenda Barnes of New Carrollton, MD; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-eight great great grandchildren; two brothers, James Nelson Barnes (Minnie) of Wilson NC and David Sutton of Fayetteville, NC; sisters-in-law, Rosa Lee Eason of Wilson, NC and Hattie Eason of Alexandria, VA; niece and caregiver, Shirlene Moody of Wilson, NC; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
